Ingredients and Seasonings for Preparing Very Light French Toast for Breakfast:
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (also called red chili powder/red pepper)
- 3 slices of bread
- 1 butter for frying
Instructions for making very light french toast for breakfast
- In a large deep bowl, take two eggs and add sugar, salt and pepper.
- Beat the eggs well so that the sugar and salt dissolve completely and the egg mixture is homogeneous.
- Now add 1 or a tablespoon and a half of butter to the pan and heat for a few seconds. Now wrap both sides of the bread slices (one at a time) in the beaten egg mixture and sear them in a pan over medium heat.
- Note: The eggs will absorb all of the fat in the pan, so continue to add 1 tablespoon of oil when flipping sides or frying new slices, but make sure to add at least 1 tablespoon of oil on each side. Or you can adjust the amount of oil to suit your palate, for example with a non-stick frying pan so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the bread and you only need very little oil.
- Continue beating the egg mixture before covering each loaf and frying in the same manner. When you're done, cut it into the shape you want and enjoy! :-)
- This is just a basic recipe and you can make many variations e.g. B. Add a slice of white cheese and eat it as a sandwich, sliced like a mini cheese sandwich, or sprinkle cheese on top and grill inside. Microwave or cook until you have leftover peppers if you don't like it, or you can leave out the sugar and red chiles. Just add salt and black pepper and taste like regular omelet :) :)
